This is my new blog, called Addorn. I normally write about front-end code on Impressive Webs, a blog that’s been running since 2008. On this new blog, you won’t see a single line of code. I’m reserving this for design principles, UI/UX design, and more personal reflections and opinions on design and usability in general.
My posts on Addorn will be based on things I’ll be learning, much like those on Impressive Webs. I believe some of the best articles written are those where the author is writing about something that is new to them. Therefore, as always, I won’t claim to be an authority on the subject I’m expounding upon, but I will merely share what I’ve learned in the hopes that others will find it as interesting and/or inspirational as I do.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy Addorn.

I am not sure this is the right address to use to contact you, but I’m trying to reach someone in the advertising or business development team. Can you direct me to the right person?
I’m with GraphicStock.com, and we would like the opportunity to discuss promoting GraphicStock with your users or other partnership opportunities. We currently work with a variety of sites for advertising purposes, such as in email newsletters, dedicated emails, or display ads–though we’re looking for bigger opportunities than ordinary banner ads.
It could be a good revenue opportunity for you, or we could do a “”swap”” where we introduce each other’s users to our respective websites if we’re a good fit. Can we talk further?
